I’m currently designing a cover for my upcoming memoir and wondering what makes a book cover truly stand out. I’m working with a Book Publishing Company, but they’ve asked for my input before they start designing.
Should I go for something symbolic, or is it better to feature a photo or illustration? If you’ve done this before, what worked best for you?
I’d really appreciate suggestions, examples, or feedback to help me bring the vision to life.

Sprunki 1996 is a nostalgic, retro-inspired remix that transports Sprunki to the golden era of 90s electronic music. It achieves this by combining vintage synths, grainy samples, and lo-fi rhythms to produce a throwback sound experience.
