Hello XS.
I'm Jay. I'm 54 and I've been in the gym and powerlifting for a long time. Best meet lifts were 667 squat 396 bench 660 deadlift at 181 at 25 years old. Now in my 50's my best gym lifts are 465 squat 455 bench 510 deadlift at 213. I guess it's ok for an old guy Haha. I joined XS to learn more about bodybuilding, powerlifting and supplements.

Thanks,
Jay

Welcome to the forum brother. Those numbers are all impressive for any age. But damn those are some serious lifts for 25 years old. Were you completely natural back then or using AAS?

It's great to see some older lions joining up along with sticking to the way of life.

Back in the day there was a lot of fake gear going around. Luckily I had pretty good connection on tes and dbol. It wasnt full strength but it got the job done.
Going even further back. When I graduated high school I weighed 158 lbs and could bench 275 lbs natural. I was benching as much as the linemen on the football team haha.

Wow. I had almost 4,000 kids in my high school and I don't recall even the biggest, strongest kid being able to lift anything near that. That's prodigy type stuff lol. How tall are/were you?

I'm 5'-8". Nothing special. I tell my wife that tall men are classified as 5-8 or taller. She looks at me like I'm crazy haha.
