Test your total testosterone level and estradiol, suggested total test level for TRT is 6-700, there are negative sides to high levels, 48 isn't young either. More is not always better especially with steroids . I'm 65, I run my level at 800-900. Definitely take arimidex, I take 1/2 tab 2 x week. Here's a tip: If your taking turmeric/curcumin for joint pain...stop...it will make your estradiol uncontrollable even with exemestane.
If you're not looking to get huge/compete adding other roids is questionable, if you do, consider EQ, it doesn't kill your liver and doesn't up your estradiol. I have run 400 MG per week for 12 weeks with no issues, no water weight, and you will build quality lean muscle.
Also consider HGH, I pin .1 ML AM before breakfast and again in the evening an hour before sleep, this is a minimum dose but does the trick for me. HGH will also raise your testosterone. Have your IGF tested also, low HGH could also contribute to your issues.
Have your liver and kidneys tested regularly. Also be aware of your cholesterol levels, testosterone is cholesterol.
I've been in this 40 years, be smart about it and live a long healthy life, don't and you won't.
No offence meant to anyone.
